MORE GOOD NEWS

The committee are pleased to advise you that there is some re-stocking taking place.

And it has just taken place, Wednesday 12th March.

700+ Bream were introduced to Cooks Pond at Milland.

Negogiated sizes were originally for 6″ - 8″ Bream. Recent inclement weather, frosts etc, has meant that many of the fish hade to be taken from a different stock pond, and many were 8″ - 10″, a real bonus.

At the same time an arrangement was made to introduce a limed particle to Rotherfield Pond. The reason for this is to speed up the decomposition of the leaves that fall in each year and improve water quality.
