For general interest: There have been a few guys fishing Rotherfield recently and with some good, or rather great results, Fish that have been caught include tench to 4lb, bream (proper uns) over 4lbs and Richard Slyfield had a red letter day on Wednesday when he managed to land a mirror carp of 25lb YES !! 2...5... Now to our knowledge this is the biggest carp that has ever been taken from this water and yes it was weighed and witnessed by 2 independent witnesses, in fact 2 day ticket anglers trying their luck at the same time...
