thanks pondlife ,it was worth a grizzle though:still no news from reggy i wonder why.perhaps he is busy at the masterclass,i do know the result i just wanted to hear it from the man himself.good luck sunday at cooks me and the spudman are off to portland for a weeks twitching on saturday.

Rules are rules muldoon, you must be used to them by now??? It’s no different to bloodworm / no bloodworm, kilo of groundbait ?? barbless hooks / micro barbed … Your tackle shop pellet / fishery’s own pellet… As far as I’m concerned anything with more teeth than me can stay where it is… Call me a softy but…….. No 3cl results as yet… I will enquire as to the whereabouts of the ultimate reckoning…

is it a written club rule that pike dont count in matches.i find it very hypocritical that those who wont count pike in rother angling club matches will quite willingly weigh them in where they are allowed i.e.all matches that are run under national federation of anglers rules.if one of those objectors caught a pike in an NFA .match lets say a national would they put it back,i think i know the answer dont you!!.any final 3c results yet mr pond life.

any news from reggy.we should have been at the green sheds on the basey but it was frozen solid,the nearest ice free bit was at glen road it was a poor stretch 20yrs ago and it has not improved,one bite one 4lbs pike that doesnt count under rother angling club rules!!!!!

The pegs on the North Mill stretch behind Rotherfield pond are pretty accessible Lee, There is fairly easy access behind peg 18 ish on the pond or walking anticlockwise from peg 1 up will get you to the river pegs…?

Had a bit of a go at Greatham thais afternoon Brian…. (Sat) Only just over the bank from the carpark, short walking…. Roach to be had there…. It was one of those funny old tides though where the river is flowing as if it is going out but it comes up instead …… Multiple river roach are good enough for me……..
