I bought one of these in the 9′ (They come in 8′ 9′ or a 10′) version for short range heaving of lumps and chub bullying amongst the snaggy bits at Woolbeding. It will take mainlines to 8lb and is short enough to tuck in between the trees and bushes and get amongst the fishes. It comes with 2 tips and is a seriously good bit of kit for the money… A bit on the stiff side for small fish but who fishes for those… Even though these are at the lower end of the market (About £30 ish ) Well worth a look if you are considering a short feeder / bomb rod with a bit of grunt…
